What To Pack For Vacation

Packing for a trip can be a hassle. You're afraid of forgetting something. I always make a list ahead of time and keep it on my computer. When you start this list a month or two ahead of time, you will not forget anything.

Clothes -- Pants, short sleeve shirts, long sleeve shirts, pajamas, underwear and socks. Don't forget a jacket and/or swimsuit (and related items) if needed.

Shoes-- Sneakers, sandles, flip-flops and/or dress shoes.

Accessories -- Scarves, hats, jewelry, and belts.

Cosmetics/Toiletries -- Makeup, Shampoo/Conditioner, Brush, Comb, Mousse, Hair Spray, Lotion (body & face), Feminine Products, Razor, Shaving Cream, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, deodorant, and perfume. Don't forget nail clippers!

Medicines -- Any prescription medicines, Tylenol or Aleve, Antiacids, and Bowel tamers.

Misc. Items -- These include an umbrella, camera, book, cell phone charger, beach items (if appropriate, including beach towels, sunscreen, sunglasses, chairs, rafts/surf boards/boogie boards, cooler, beach bag).

Packing the right gear can mean the difference between having a bad trip and a great trip!
